Finally a reference guide which is not directed at any specific exam program but covers the complexities of Music Technology in a student-friendly manner. Not merely a great brand-new guide tool for students, it will be of great used to the many songs teachers who will be starting teaching this subject, and to the keen amateur whom creates music yourself. -Ingrid McLean, topic frontrunner for musical, Hanham highschool, Bristol

A reader-friendly way of dealing with previously complex explanations of technology; presenting obvious passages of text and colourful diagrams. Probably the most impressive an element of the guide is its ability to appeal to numerous readers, both in terms of age and capability. Most chapters will be of great interest to those who are either beginning their job, want to clean up on their particular comprehension or wish to further engage their particular pastime. -Daisy Sunda, PGCE music pupil, Oxford Brookes
